Beeline is one of four features that Bumble users get access to once they decide to switch to premium accounts. The other three are Rematch, BusyBee, and Unlimited Filters.
As you probably already know, switching to a premium account requires you to pay a monthly subscription fee.
The additional features that premium accounts can use all fall into the Bumble Boost package. As such, if you aren’t signed up for Bumble Boost, none of its features will work for you (not just Beeline). But if you are signed up for Bumble Boost (which means that you have a premium account), and have experienced some issues with its Beeline feature, you are at the right place.
This article will show you what you can do to fix your issues with the Beeline feature.
Beeline Is Asking You to Pay Again
This is one of the most common problems people come across when using Bumble Beeline. The reason is actually very simple.
It all comes down to the fact that Bumble Boost paid subscriptions are profile-specific. What that means is that one subscription only applies to one specific account.
Let’s say that you have paid for your subscription and got access to Bumble Boost’s features on your first account. You have then created another account and set up your new profile just like before. Because of Bumble’s profile-specific policy regarding subscriptions, you won’t be able to transfer your subscription to your newly created account.
That means that Beeline and other features won’t work on your second account. If you want to use those features on both accounts, you will have to pay from your alternative account as well.
No One Is Appearing in Your Beeline
A lot of Bumble users have reported that their Beeline feature isn’t working as it used to. Most of these reports are actually quite similar – the Beeline feature used to show at least a few different accounts every now and then, and then it suddenly stopped showing any.
If you are experiencing the same issue with your Bumble Beeline, we have some good and bad news for you.
The good news is that there is probably nothing wrong with your account or profile photos and that your Beeline isn’t empty because people don’t find you attractive.
The bad news is that you cannot fix this issue because it is most likely occurring due to a problem with Bumble’s servers.
All of your information and data is circulating through this platform’s servers before getting stored into one of their databases. If there’s something wrong on their end (server or database issues, for example), all you can do is wait for the developers to fix the issue.
However, if you want to make sure that the problem definitely doesn’t have anything to do with your device, here’s what you can do:
- Close and then reopen your Bumble app – Manually stop your app from working and then open it again. You can do this by tapping into your phone’s Settings, going into apps, and selecting the Bumble app. You should be able to find a feature labeled Stop the App from Working, Force Stop, or something else along those lines (this depends on the operating system that you are using). Tap on that feature and then reopen the app.
- Check your internet connection – None of Bumble’s features will work if you don’t have a strong internet connection. Check whether your phone is connected to the internet and if the connection is fast enough.
- Reinstall the app – Sometimes app files can get mixed up with the latest updates. Uninstall Bumble from your phone, visit the official app store for your mobile’s OS, and download the app again. This should fix all the bugs.
Have Fun on Bumble
If none of our proposed solutions works for you and you are still experiencing issues with your Beeline, you should get in touch with Bumble’s support team. If even they are unable to help, perhaps you should switch to other dating platforms. Tinder and Badoo are currently the most popular dating apps and you most likely won’t experience any bugs there.
