How to Use a Migos Song in TikTok

The hip-hop trio Migos is one of the most influential artists on TikTok. You’ll see a number of their songs featured on the app, including the two most significant TikTok sensations, Danger and Notice Me. Making a Migos song in TikTok is not hard at all; hundreds of people are doing it, and so can you.

Read on and learn how to make a Migos or any other song in TikTok.

Make a Migos Song in TikTok

First, make sure to have the latest version of the app. To save you some time, we fetched the Google Play Store and Apple App Store links, where you can update TikTok for Android and iOS devices, respectively.

When you have the app ready on your phone or tablet, begin making a Migos song:

  1. Launch TikTok on your device.
  2. Tap on the plus icon at the bottom of the window.
  3. Press the big red Record circle at the bottom of your screen.
  4. You can record anything, don’t worry about it (we recorded a gaming mouse). Tap the checkmark icon when you are done.
  5. Press Sounds to the bottom-left of this window.
  6. You’ll land on the TikTok Sounds page, where you can choose from many trending songs.
  7. Since you want to make a Migos song, type “Migos” in the search bar at the top of the screen.
  8. Pick any song you like, and it will be added to your video. You can hear a preview right away.
  9. Tap Next and then select Post to upload your video to TikTok. Your phone will also save it in your library.

Advanced Options

The previous section was just a bare-bones tutorial on making a Migos song in TikTok. You probably don’t want to make such a simple TikTok video, though. When you finish with adding the sound, press the arrow down button to the right of your screen.

Select the Volume option and adjust the original sound volume. You can use this to mute the background noise in your video so that the Migos song sounds clearer. Unfortunately, you can’t crank the soundtrack volume up or down.

Additionally, you can trim the song you added. This option is useful if you prefer the latter part of the song because TikTok will automatically insert the beginning part of the song. Note that TikTok videos only last 15 seconds and that you can’t change that.

To trim your song, tap the option with the same name above the Volume settings. Then, you can mark the part of the song you want to insert and save the changes.

Finally, you can press the Recording option to say something over the song, but the audio clip you add will be a few seconds long.

You Can’t Upload Music Though

Many people ask if you can upload songs from your device. There is an upload option when recording TikTok videos, but it only allows you to upload videos or photos from your library. You can’t upload audio files, and if you could, it wouldn’t be a good idea.

Copyright laws protect all the music on TikTok, so if you upload a Migos song from your device, your video might be flagged and taken down. It’s better to stick to the music offered on the official TikTok sounds page. Luckily, TikTok continually updates the list, and new songs are available every day.

However, you can upload the songs you’ve created if you own them. TikTok is a great place to show off your singing, dancing, and other talents. Many artists became famous through TikTok, and so could you.

Be Noticed

Now you know how to make a Migos song in TikTok. Furthermore, you know how to create any song, as long as it is available in TikTok’s library. If you are a singer or a rapper, you can try replicating some of the songs yourself.

TikTok is the right place for karaoke, lip-syncing, or posting your original songs. If you want to post a song you created, you can post a teaser on TikTok and upload the entire song on YouTube (because of the TikTok video time limit).
